Abstract

Las necesidades de la agricultura para acabar con las plagas mediante el uso de plaguicidas químicos nos está llevando a buscar otras fuentes naturales que nos permita luchar contra las plagas sin acabar con el medio. De esta forma, se estudiaron 166 cepas de microorganismos aislados de la dermis de aceituna de diferentes plantaciones olivareras andaluzas con el fin de evaluar la capacidad que tienen estas en inhibir el crecimiento de los principales hongos patógenos del olivo: Colletotricum acutatum, Pythium spp. y Verticillium spp. Además, aquellos microorganismos con capacidad de inhibir el crecimiento de los hongos patógenos, fueron estudiados como posibles productores de biofertilizantes en ensayos con el organismo modelo vegeta Hypoestes.
