(EN)The ultimate aim of this work is to carry out the syllabus of an ELE course for a supposed group of French students studying a degree in Physiotherapy in Spain. To do this, firstly, we have studied various theoretical contents related to the specific aims, the Spanish of the health sciences and the profile of the teachers who teach this type of language. On the other hand, we have investigated the reasons why French students come to Spain to study this degree, considering, amongst other reasons: the difficulty to access these studies in their own country, the facilities offered by being two member states of the European Union and their knowledge of the language. For this reason, the situation of Spanish in the French education system has been analysed. On the basis of this information, the Spanish course for these students has been developed, taking the task-based approach as a basis. Finally, it was concluded that although this niche market is being exploited, there is still much to be done both to increase the economic return and to offer quality education.
