mentorizados/as.
[EN] This paper deals with a research in the field of active aging and intergenerational activities, focusing on the mentoring activities developed by an association of retired entrepreneurs and professionals (SECOT) to support entrepreneurship. Mentoring not only helps people who want to become entrepreneurs, but also promotes active and responsible aging, which seeks to continue contributing to society through accumulated knowledge and experience. This research focuses on the study of generic or transversal competencies and entrepreneurial competencies (EntreComp) that SECOT mentors can transmit to their mentees. Using a quantitative methodology, we analyze to what extent the seniors consider that they transfer generic and entrepreneurial competencies to their mentees, and the mentees perceive this transfer of competencies, in order to verify whether both perceptions coincide.
