A lo largo de la historia la mujer siempre ha tenido complicaciones para llegar a un puesto de trabajo. La desigualdad entre mujeres y hombres hoy en día todavía está muy presente en los mercados laborales mundiales, ya sea en base de las diferentes oportunidades, al trato y finalmente a lo resultados. El tiempo que ha pasado para que la mujer tenga una posición de igualdad respecto al hombre ha sido bastante lento el transcurso; ya que desde hace mucho tiempo la mujer la podíamos encajar en los cuidados del hogar y la familia, nunca en ningún puesto de trabajo respecto al hombre.
