junto a Osiris.
(EN) Life for the ancient Egyptians did not end with death. The death of a person means that their body has died, but that a complex journey begins, so that their soul is worthy of eternal life. The body plays a fundamental role in the sacred rituals that take place after death. The material part of the deceased will be the insurance so that his soul overcomes the tests of the Beyond and can be reborn together with Osiris. Given the sacredness that is infused around death, all procedures performed on the body must be sacralized by priests and measured by standards. Every ritual must be developed in a complex and corseted way within certain times and rules. Each step of the rituals has a purpose that is directly related to the religious belief of Ancient Egypt.
