[EN] In this Master's Thesis, authentic research will be carried out to explore teachers' beliefs about foreign language teaching, focusing on a communicative approach. After carefully examining the relevant information and building a solid theoretical framework on the communicative approach and its components, we designed a series of semi-structured interviews with teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language and female teachers of French as a Foreign Language. In documenting this research, it is evidenced that both teachers and education systems that prioritize orality in the teaching of foreign languages obtain better results compared to those systems that focus on written expression, as is the case of the Spanish education system.
