aulas.
The teaching-learning of Art History tends to pay more attention to certain artistic periods, with nineteenth-century art being one of those undervalued periods. Revivalism is positioned as one of those bland phenomena that can contribute little to the knowledge of discipline, however in it we can see perfectly how the artistic creation phenomenon works in its most elementary base: to copy the references of the past. The History of Art is articulated as a study in time of the different artistic phenomena through their continuities and ruptures, and their loans and innovations, and the architecture of Revivalism offers one of the best opportunities to address this epistemology at the classroom.
