[EN] In this Final Master's Project, the topic of boxing will be used, as well as others derived from it –which will be explored through an actional approach with four different methodologies, which provide a more critical understanding of this sport spectacle- as cultural vehicle for teaching Spanish in the ELE classroom, using the communication skills proposed in the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for the Teaching of Foreign Languages, Council of Europe, 2001); the PCIC (Curricular Plan of the Cervantes Institute); as well as the parallel application that is used in the United States under the guidelines of ACTFL (American Consuncil on the Teaching of Foreing Languages, 2005). This proposal will apply to two groups: the first; French preparatory students; the second, American university students, who will share only partially the applied methodologies. None of the groups has this sport as the first reference in their cultures; although the Spanish-speaking countries have a large list of world champions which allows an identification of culture with Spanish. For this reason, this sport-show can generate interest and reflection in the student of Spanish as a second language, leading to a critical awareness of what surrounds the Sweet Science of Clubbing - as this sport is also known -, serving as an agent social that facilitates interaction with peers in the ELE classroom.
