This dissertation provides an analysis of the implementation of Multiple Intelligences in the English classroom, with the aim of highlighting the importance of developing and promoting the potential of the human brain for educational purposes. The theoretical framework will deal with the presentation of the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, developed by Howard Gardner in 1970. Besides, it will examine the different types of intelligences, placing the student at the centre of the teaching process. For that reason, the second part of the project will focus on the ELT and it will explain the ways in which it can be combined with Multiple Intelligences. In addition, there will be a proposal of a Didactic Unit as a practical application, which is going to include activities to stimulate the different intelligences among students while learning grammar and vocabulary and improving the four skills of language.
