[EN]This Master's Dissertation proposes a Dog-Assisted educational program for a group formed by six students with Autism spectrum. It includes twenty sessions, organized in three phases (preliminary, intervention, and final) whose purpose is to work in the classroom and reach a series of general, specific and cross curricular objectives. The general objectives have been adapted from the basic curriculum of Primary Education and, both the specific and the cross cultural, have been designed to fulfill the educational needs of this particular group of students. The curricular areas included in this study are: Spanish Language and Literature, Math, Natural Sciences, Social Skills, and Theory of the Mind. The methodology used is based on the methodological principles TEACCH and influenced by the proper characteristics of those students who suffer from Autism spectrum, focusing specially on time management and space, the flexibility of routines, the elimination of distractions and the use of centers of interest in order to encourage motivation towards the activity. Two techniques have been used as evaluation system for the program: direct observation by all the professionals involved in 3 the project and the fulfillment of satisfaction questioners. Furthermore, this study reflects a realistic and viable budget and a welfare quality protocol for the animals to make sure that they are protected during the program. Finally, the implementation of this program expects to work as a facilitator in the acquisition of a set of specific curricular aims and contents by a group of students who suffer from Autism spectrum.
