(ES) Dada la importancia del engagement en la obtención de resultados positivos para
empleados y organizaciones, se plantea este estudio que, enmarcado dentro del modelo JDR, explora la correlación entre capital psicológico, engagement y edad, además de analizar
el papel moderador de esta última sobre la relación entre capital psicológico y engagement
en 151 trabajadores de diferentes sectores de Jaén (España). Se utilizaron dos cuestionarios,
el CPQ-12 y el UWES-3. Los resultados muestran que existe correlación significativa entre
capital psicológico y engagement (r = .56; p < .001). No se ha encontrado que exista
correlación significativa al relacionar la edad, por un lado, con el capital psicológico y, por
otro, con el engagement. En cuanto al efecto moderador de la edad en la relación entre
capital psicológico y engagement, los resultados obtenidos indicaron que no se produce
dicho efecto. Por último, se discuten estos resultados y se plantean líneas de investigación
futuras.
