adolescentes La muestra estaba formada por 105 adolescentes (GC = 28; GE1 n = 24;
GE2 n = 27; GE3 n = 26).
[EN]The aim of the study was to verify the acute effect of several types of active breaks between classes on attention, concentration, memory and mathematical calculation in adolescents The sample consisted of 105 adolescents (GC = 28, GE1 n = 24, GE2 n = 27, GE3 n = 26). For attention and concentration the spanish adaptation of Seisdedos of the test d2 of Brickenkamp was used. The memory and the mathematical calculation were evaluated by tests of own elaboration. The analyzes showed that performing 4 minutes of activity at different intensities in each class change during the school day does not cause a sufficient acute effect that improves the result in cognitive tests in adolescents. Although there is an association between aerobic fitness and cognitive performance, the variables of a session of aerobic physical activity are not clear to cause an acute effect on cognitive performance in adolescents. Key words: physical activity, academic performance, physical fitness and adolescents.
