EL AUTISMO Y LAS EMOCIONES. PROPUESTA DE INTERVENCIÓN PARA TRABAJAR LAS EMOCIONES EN NIÑOS/AS CON AUTISMO

Abstract

Las personas con autismo presentan problemas en la reconocimiento y expresión de las emociones, considerándose estas habilidades esenciales para su desarrollo tanto social como personal. Este trabajo de Fin de Grado profundiza en el estudio sobre el autismo y las emociones de niños/as autista. Resaltando la importancia que tienen las emociones en el contexto educativo. Este trabajo consta de dos partes, en la primera se revisa las distintas descripciones del autismo hasta llegar a la definición actual, así como las características que presenta este alumnado. Así mismo se revisa el concepto de emoción e inteligencia emocional, la importancia de las distintas teorías cognitivas y emocionales que afectan a un pleno desarrollo emocional, y por último su implicación en el contexto educativo. Para finalizar, presentaremos el diseño de una propuesta de intervención dirigida a alumnos/as con autismo de Educación Primaria.

People with autism present problems in the recognition and expression of emotions, considering these skills essential for their social and personal development. This End-of-Grade work delves into the study of autism and the emotions of autistic children. Emphasizing the importance of emotions in the educational context. This work consists of two parts, in the first one the different descriptions of autism are reviewed until arriving at the current definition, as well as the characteristics presented by this student body. Likewise, the concept of emotion and emotional intelligence, the importance of the different cognitive and emotional theories that affect a full emotional development, and its implication in the educational context are reviewed. Finally, we will present the design of an intervention proposal addressed to students with autism in Primary Education
