Resumen
Las personas con autismo presentan problemas en la reconocimiento y expresión de las emociones, considerándose estas habilidades esenciales para su desarrollo tanto social como personal. Este trabajo de Fin de Grado profundiza en el estudio sobre el autismo y las emociones de niños/as autista. Resaltando la importancia que tienen las emociones en el contexto educativo. Este trabajo consta de dos partes, en la primera se revisa las distintas descripciones del autismo hasta llegar a la definición actual, así como las características que presenta este alumnado. Así mismo se revisa el concepto de emoción e inteligencia emocional, la importancia de las distintas teorías cognitivas y emocionales que afectan a un pleno desarrollo emocional, y por último su implicación en el contexto educativo. Para finalizar, presentaremos el diseño de una propuesta de intervención dirigida a alumnos/as con autismo de Educación Primaria.
