ESTUDIO AUTOETNOGRÁFICO DEL SIMBOLISMO EN LA MÚSICA DE D. SHOSTAKOVICH DURANTE LOS AÑOS DEL

Abstract

[ES]Este trabajo de investigación analiza el simbolismo en el cual se encuentra envuelta la música de D. Shostakovich a través de mi experiencia como intérprete de dos de sus obras más icónicas, la Sinfonía no5 Op. 47 y el Cuarteto para cuerdas no 8 Op. 110. Basado en mi vivencia durante la preparación, ensayo e interpretación de estas obras pretendo profundizar en el entendimiento del mensaje extra musical, y hacer una interpretación del mismo dentro del contexto socio político en el que fueron concebidas. [EN]This research work analyses the symbolism in which the music of D. Shostakovich is involved through my experience as a performer of two of his most iconic works, the Symphony No. 5 Op. 47 and the String Quartet No. 8 Op. 110. Based on my experience during the preparation, rehearsal and performance of these works I intend to deepen my understanding of the extra musical message, and make an interpretation of it within the socio-political context in which they were conceived.
