Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects, above all, the communicative field and the social interaction of the person diagnosed. All this entails a series of limitations that not only affect the person evaluated, but also the families. This work will focus on the study of children who have been diagnosed with ASD early, since it has a great impact on family life, which leads to the development of negative emotions such as guilt, frustration, fear, among others; and at high stress levels. The development of this work allows us to verify how intervention programs dedicated to stress management in parents of ASD children can be effective in the development of family well- being, which would lead to a more efficient response to the individual needs of their children. sons and daughters. That is why it is considered necessary to develop an intervention project that aims to provide families with resources to manage the stress caused after the evaluation of their descendants.
