(EN) Healthy habits refer to those behaviours that allow us to maintain good health. Factors such as diet, hygiene, sleep and physical activity are very important. However, physical activity is crucial to maintain a state of wellbeing involving health benefits: it improves respiratory and cardiovascular function, muscle and bone strength, helps reduce body fat, weight gain, etc. Following the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 disease, it has been shown that unhealthy habits have increased. High calorie intake and insufficient energy expenditure has led to an increase in overweight and obesity in children, especially in low-income families. The educational centre, therefore, should be a health promoter for infant pupils, with the possibility of encouraging the active practice of physical activity in physical education.
