(EN) This work carries out a theoretical review, making a journey through adolescence and its environment, delving into some of the multiple social and cultural influences that may pose risk factors for the development of future violent behaviours. The prevalence of sexist violence justifies by itself the attention paid to the problem, reflecting the types of violence, processes, and types of profiles that various authors collect in their texts. From the context of sexist violence, is especially investigated the violence that occurs in the adolescent stage, showing the different modes of learning types, warning signs and prevalence of this stage of development. Finally, it delves into the intervention and prevention of the problem, with special emphasis on the Duluth Project.
