[EN] This text is based on resources that prisons provide punishable persons deprived of their liberty for the reintegration and social rehabilitation, compared with the needs of the prisoners, rights and duties. To do so is established as a hypothesis: the prisons are the most efficient means for social reintegration; the social worker is essential for social reintegration and their functions are essential; and resources offered by the correctional acilities satisfactorily contribute to social reintegration. After the research done by reading different books, magazines ... has been established although there are available resources we found that not being possible universal accessibility is difficult for the social reintegration of all people, on the other hand the Social worker is fundamental as a professional, but tasks are insufficient, and finally the prisons may not be the most efficient means for its purpose.
