[EN]The main purpose of this Master's Final Project is to investigate the connections between the music of the written tradition and the oral tradition, through the reinterpretation in the flamenco style of some movements of the Orchestral Suite no. 2 in B minor BWV 1067 by Johann Sebastian Bach. In this work, the origin and evolution of the transverse flute in Western culture, the analysis of Bach's work and the process of the project where everything that has led to reinterpret this piece will be discussed. In addition, the entire experience that he lived as an author throughout the construction of this artistic product is related. One of the most important conclusions is the need to bring the world of traditional music and that of cultured music closer together, faced by historical historiography, as well as the enhancement of flamenco as a genre valid also for the training of musicians in the field academic.
