[EN]Literature constitutes, in this work, a didactic material which presents not only correct models of language, but also a broad set of cultural representations, that can be used for dealing with intercultural aspects in class. Therefore, the literary text represents, for us, the pedagogical resource, with a real nature, where our ELE (Spanish as a foreign language) teaching-learning process based on the development of intercultural competence is raised. French-speaking learners are concerned in an international educational context. Thus, the student will work in the target language and will be in contact with universal and intercultural moral values that lead to a psychological strengthening of the personality, oriented towards universal learnings such as respect, tolerance and empathy. Key words: interculturality, literature, Spanish as a foreign language, methodological action plan, results verification
