no.
[EN]The gender social construction and its relationship with the sexual division of labors, is manifested in the accumulation of symbols and ideas that are embodied in our society and agree with current productive relationships. These models are built on the symbols about the differences between men and women and what is work or not. Gender identities impose relations of power and social hierarchy, so it can be indicated that the sexual division of work in addition to hierarchizing the tasks that men and women develop, also causes the hierarchy of people, so that work constitutes one of the various forms of social inequality and is key to understand gender systems and their link with other social divisions. This final Master's work aims to review the theories and data that show the existence of occupational segregation as a result of the sexual division of labors, as well as to know the consequences that this fragmentation has for women, at work, economic level, social and about their health and well-being. Similarly, emphasis will be placed on work and family reconciliation and the double presence of women in both areas, and programs for access to women's labor incorporation and tools such as Time Banks will be collected as an instrument for the conciliation. Keywords: gender inequality, conciliation, co-responsibility, gender-specific division of labour
