[EN] The democratic transition was a time when there were important political and social changes of great transcendence in Spain. This stage, as well as other significant aspects of the same century, are often studied briefly and superficially in elementary classrooms, without allowing students to delve into the subject. Likewise, knowing the local heritage and contextualising learning in the reality of the student is important when teaching History, since it is beneficial for the teaching-learning process. For this reason, this dissertation consists of a didactic proposal designed for the third primary cycle, about "The Democratic Transition in Linares." This proposal consists of different activities that aim to bring students closer to the aforementioned stage, motivate students to learn to "think historically" and, as the RD 126/201 cites, tries to promote values that promote democratic citizenship.
