Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty that primarly affects reading. This paper analyses how the type of medium in which it is read affects the population with dyslexia, as well as, what factors must be taken into account to make the texts more accesible. Paratextual cues of physical books would be an advantage over digital books. These cues would allow a better understanding of the text. On the other hand, e-books have great customization options, which allow it to easily generate adapted texts. There are apparently specialized fonts for the population with dyslexia, however, its use does not seem to lead to an improvement over traditional fonts. The key to reading improvement is in the size and spacing of the letters. writing texts in a suitable size and with a sufficient space between letters, just as e-books have options to modify these parameters, it is desirable.
