Resumen
El tema adicciones resulta amplio y complejo, ha existido desde siempre, y en estos últimos años las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC´s) ha sido uno de los principales problemas sociales a los que se ha tenido que enfrentarla sociedad, el uso y abuso de las TIC´s, se han ido instalando de forma rápida en la vida cotidiana de las personas, llegando a constituir un problema tanto individual como social, debido a su uso abusivo por gran parte de la población. Debido a ello este problema es percibido tanto por profesionales, como por la ciudadanía, en general, y se ve reflejado en medios de comunicación, encuestas de opinión, estudios de investigación, etc.Con este trabajo se pretende un acercamiento a los problemas derivados de la adicción a las nuevas tecnologías, y la relevancia del rol del profesional de trabajo social en su abordaje.

Due to this, this problem is perceived by professionals, as well as by the general public, and is reflected in the media, opinion polls, research studies, etc. This work aims to approach the problems arising from the addiction to new technologies, and the relevance of the role of the social work professional in its approach.
