Disability in Latin America, together with higher education, is a topic rarely addressed by the regions of this continent. For this reason, through this project, we intend to investigate the disability figures of this place and what are the programs and policies on the part of the countries so that the inclusion of these people in education is possible. To make this possible, we intend to make a comparison between countries of this continent, based on their position regarding the human development index (HDI). These countries are Chile, Uruguay and Bolivia, with Chile being one of the countries with a high HDI, followed by Uruguay with medium and Bolivia with low.
