sociedad.
(EN) This intervention project focuses on the transition process towards adulthood and is aimed at children with Down's Syndrome, specifically in the province of Jaén. The aim is to improve their personal and social skills, thus enhancing the quality of interpersonal relationships, as well as promoting their personal autonomy. A dynamic and participative methodology will be developed, where both the family and the children will have an important role. Throughout the work, we will try to ensure that these minors, who sometimes lack resources, tools or skills, cover their individual and specific needs and enhance their abilities, thus improving their process of social and labour inclusion. What is most important during the transition process of these children with Down's Syndrome is that their rights are not violated and that they are able to participate freely and actively in society.
