[EN] This project focuses on the characterization of six samples of polychrome wood from paneling of the Hall of Abencerrajes of the Alhambra in Granada, proportionate by Department of Conservation of the Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife. For the identification of pigments used in the decoration of wood it has been used Raman microscopy with two lasers for excitation (785 and 514 nm). This technique is non-destructive and it permits to characterize different substances present in the samples, both organic and inorganic character. In order to identify different compounds, the spectra obtained have been compared with data bases and with commercial patterns. That way, different pigments have been characterized: cinnabar, white lead, lapis lazuli, orpiment, goethite and azurite. In addition, it has been discovered that colors were applied over a preparation layer formed by minium and gypsum. Also, it has been able to identify beeswax, this applied as a protective layer of paint.
