Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo es profundizar en la gamificación ya que se considera una de las mejores
metodologías para motivar a los alumnos en el aprendizaje de un idioma. Para ello, se hará un recorrido
por su génesis de manera que se dé una definición adecuada del término. Además, se representarán todos
los elementos que forman la gamificación. Posteriormente se dará una orientación sobre cómo gamificar
un aula y las formas de gamificar un aula con la ayuda de las TIC (Tecnologías de la Información y la
Comunicación). Una vez aclarados los aspectos teóricos de la gamificación, se presentarán los pros y los
contras de este enfoque. Este trabajo finalizará con una unidad didáctica en la que se pondrá en práctica la
gamificación.
The aim of this dissertation is to study gamification in depth since it is considered one of the best methodologies to motivate students when learning a language. To do so, a journey through its genesis will be drawn so that a proper definition of the term will be given. In addition, all the elements that form gamification will be considered. Afterwards, a guidance on how to gamify a classroom will be provided as well as ways of gamifying a classroom with the aid of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies). Once the theoretical aspects of gamification have been clarified, the difficulties and advantages of this approach will be presented. This dissertation will end up with a didactic unit in which gamification will be put in practise.
