[ES] El músculo esquelético presenta unas células regenerativas conocidas como células satélite (SC). Las células satélite comienzan a proliferar y entran en el programa miogénico cuando se activan en respuesta a estímulos o traumatismos, formando progenitores miogénicos. Actualmente se sigue discutiendo sobre el origen de las SC debido a su heterogeneidad, aunque varios estudios han establecido que las SC se originan a partir de precursores que expresan Pax3 en las células del dermomiotoma. En este estudio se estudia la generación y caracterización de un modelo in vivo de ratón para trazar a los precursores miogénicos que expresan Pax3. Para ello, se obtuvo ratones Zsgreen/Pax3Cre, se caracterizó la expresión de la proteína ZsGreen en los derivados del músculo esquelético de estos y se determinó la expresión de dicha proteína mediante un análisis inmunohistoquímico. Nuestros resultados muestran que las fibras musculares observadas presentaban un patrón difuso originado por la expresión de Pax3.

Satellite cells begin to proliferate and enter the myogenic programme when activated in response to stimuli or trauma, forming myogenic progenitors. The origin of SCs is still debated due to their heterogeneity, although several studies have established that SCs originate from Pax3- expressing precursors in dermomyotome cells. Therefore, in this study we will generate and characterise an in vivo mouse model to trace Pax3-expressing myogenic precursors. To this end, Zsgreen/Pax3Cre mice were obtained, ZsGreen protein expression was characterised in their skeletal muscle derivatives, and ZsGreen protein expression was determined by immunohistochemical analysis. The muscle fibres observed showed a diffuse pattern originating from Pax3 expression.
