[ES]Este trabajo de Fin de Grado consiste en la elaboración del análisis del sistema financiero español en el período comprendido entre 2010 y 2015 con los datos recabados en base al año 2015. A partir de 2008, y debido a la crisis financiera mundial, el sistema financiero español se vio obligado a llevar a cabo un proceso de reestructuración bancaria la cual, se basaría en la centralización del sector financiero, así como la unificación de entidades financieras. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo conocer si en este período de cambios ha sido más eficiente la unión de entidades financieras a través de la fusión pura, o a través de la absorción utilizando la metodología de análisis envolvente de datos (DEA).
[EN]This End-of-Grade essay consists in the preparation of the analysis of the Spanish financial system in the period between 2010 and 2015. As of 2008, and due to the global financial crisis, the Spanish financial system was forced to carry out a bank restructuring process, which would be based on the centralization of the financial sector, as well as the unification of financial institutions. The objective of this job is to know if in this period of changes the union of financial entities through the pure merger, or through the absorption using the methodology of data envelopment analysis (DEA), has been more efficient.
