El vocabulario utilizado en el nivel B1. Análisis de un corpus de estudiantes.

Abstract

En la presente investigación, se pretende analizar el nivel de los nombres, adjetivos, adverbios y verbos utilizados por 62 estudiantes españoles de inglés, concretamente para nivel B1 acorde con el MCER, para realizar una composición escrita sobre dos temas a elegir: enviar una queja a una compañía aérea por la pérdida de una maleta y solicitas una compensación por ello o, por otro lado, una composición describiendo Jaén e invitando a un amigo o familiar a visitar la ciudad. Los textos fueron examinados con la siguiente web de http://englishprofile.org/wordlists/evp, en la que se analizaba el vocabulario y se podía ver qué nivel del MCER correspondía a esa misma palabra. Los resultados indican que la mayoría de vocabulario pertenece al nivel A1 y solamente un 5% de vocabulario pertenece al nivel B1

In the present investigation, we pretend to analyses the level of the names, adjectives, adverbs and verbs used for 62 Spanish students of English, specifically for level B1 agree with the MCER, to do one written composition about two topics and you have to choose: send a complaint to an airline for the loss of your luggage and you ask for a compensation or on the other hand, one composition describing Jaén and inviting to visit the city to one friend or your family. The texts were examined with the next web http://englishprofile.org/wordlists/evp, in which vocabulary was analyzed and it was possible to see which level of the MCER corresponded to that same word. The results indicate that the majority of vocabulary belongs to level A1 and only 5% of vocabulary belongs to level B1.
