The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a photovoltaic installation connected to the electrical grid for a telecommunications company in Jaén. Its main objective is to reduce environmental impact by using renewable energy and align with Spain’s National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC) 2021-2030. The system consists of 50 solar modules of 460 W each, distributed across three rooftops of the building, and includes a three-phase inverter with a capacity of 25 kW. The location, orientation, and inclination of the panels were optimized to maximize energy generation based on local environmental conditions. The connection to the grid complies with current regulations under the self-consumption with surplus compensation model. Protections for both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) are included to prevent overloads and short circuits, ensuring the safety of the system and personnel.
