Resumen
[ES]El presente trabajo pretende evidenciar los factores que están dificultando a los jóvenes españoles el acceso al empleo público. Tras el análisis cuantitativo a partir de distintas fuentes estadísticas consultadas, se parte de una situación generalizada de desempleo de este sector poblacional, observándose una estrecha relación entre el nivel de instrucción y la tasa de desempleo. La creación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES), tras la Declaración de Bolonia, ha supuesto un cambio radical en las enseñanzas universitarias y un paso hacia una mayor cualificación de los jóvenes españoles. La adecuación al EEES de la Ley 712007, de 12 de abril, del Estatuto Básico del empleado público, reguladora de las titulaciones exigidas para el acceso al empleo público, resulta una cuestión crucial en este aspecto, sin embargo su inexactitud a día de hoy acompañado del irregular funcionamiento del propio Sector Público, condicionan su entrada a los jóvenes sobradamente preparados.

[EN]This paper aims to highlight the factors that are hindering the Spanish youth to access to public employment. After quantitative analysis from different statistic sources, we start from a generalized situation of unemployment in this population sector, showing a close relationship between the level of education and unem ployment. The creation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), after the Bologna Declaration, it has been a radical change in university education and a step towards further qualification of young Spaniards. The adaptation to the EHEA of Law 7/2007 of April 12, the Basic Statute of Public regulating employee, which regulates the qualifications required for access to public employment, it is a crucial issue in this point, but its inaccuracy nowadays accompanied by the irregular operation of public sector, determine the entry of youth amply prepared.
