Resumen
Debido al constante crecimiento de la población mayor en nuestro país, cada
vez hay más personas mayores y, aunque la relación con los jóvenes cada vez sea más
satisfactoria, aún existen estereotipos y prejuicios hacia este grupo.
Una forma de superar y eliminar los estereotipos y prejuicios es trabajando
conjuntamente jóvenes y mayores a través de programas y actividades
intergeneracionales.
Con este trabajo se pretende conocer que es la Educación Intergeneracional,
donde puede desarrollarse, cuáles son los beneficios de trabajar conjuntamente
personas de distintas generaciones y cuáles son los prejuicios y estereotipos hacia la
vejez para así poder superarlos.
Además, se pretende llevar a cabo una propuesta de intervención con el fin de
que pueda originarse el acercamiento entre generaciones a través del teatro, mediante
el cual alumnos/as de Educación Primaria y personas mayores puedan intercambiar
experiencias, conocimientos y beneficiarse de este tipo de educación.
