Abstract

[ES] El proyecto de “La Organización Internacional del Trabajo. Creación funcionamiento y evolución histórica” tiene como objetivo analizar y desarrollar el resultado de estudio de las principales características y situaciones de una de las organizaciones másimportantes a nivel internacional. La Organización Internacional del Trabajo es una organización especializada de las Naciones Unidas. Es la institución encargada de los temas del trabajo y las relaciones laborales en el ámbito internacional. Se fundó en el año 1919, a raíz del Tratado de Versalles. Su estructura es tripartita y está formada por empleadores, gobiernos y sindicatos. Su órgano supremo es la Conferencia Internacional del Trabajo dónde sus representantes se reúnen una vez al año. El Consejo de Administración, se reúne cadacuatrimestre en Ginebra. Su principal acción es promover la creación de empleo, mejorar los principios y derechos de los trabajadores y buscar la mejora de la protección social. Es la encargada de establecer normas, formular políticas y elaborar programas para conseguir trabajo digno para todos los ciudadanos. Se trata de una organización creada para generar iniciativas en materia laboral que contribuyan al progreso social y económico, respetando siempre la diversidad de situaciones y posibilidades en los diferentes países. Con este proyecto intentamos conocer a fondo cuales son los inicios de dicha organización, su evolución y cómo se encuentra en la actualidad. Y, por último, analizaremos las medidas que la OIT determina para acabar con el abuso y la violenciaen el mundo del trabajo.[EN] The project of “International Labor Organization, creation, functioning and history evolution” is the result or the research of the main features and situations of one of the most important organization at an international level. The international LaborOrganization is a specialized organization in the United Nations. It is on charge of the topics of work and labour relations. It was founded in the 1919, due to the Treaty of Versailles. Its government is tripartite and it is made up of employers, governments and trade unions. Its supreme body is the international labor conference and they meet once a year. The governing board meets once each four-month period in Genova. Its main action is to promote the creation of employment, improve the principles and rights of works and search for an improvement of social protection. It is in charge of establishing rules, formulating policies and developing programs to obtain decent work for all citizens. It is an organization created to generate initiatives in labor matters that contribute to social and economic progress, always respecting the diversity of situations and possibilities in different countries. With this project we try to know deeply which the indications of this organization are, the evolution and how it is at present. And finally,what ILO does to end with abuse and violence in the world of work.
