[EN]Despite the role of olive oils in Spain's economic development, and its global leadership in production, in recent years the sector falls into a profitability crisis motivated, mainly, by the low price level maintained in the agrifood chain. As a strategy to improve economic welfare, oleotourism has emerged as a novel tourist practice, based on a crop, olive grove, and its fruit, olive oil. This research work is based on characterizing the oleotourism consumer of Jaén and analyzing the degree of satisfaction with the oleotourism offer available in the province. In compliance with the objectives we collaborate with the Picualia olive mill, where the questionnaires are executed and conclusions and recommendations are drawn for the oil tourism of the province, in general, and the service offered by this olive mill, in particular.
