PROGRAMA DE INTERVENCIÓN BASADO EN MINDFULNESS PARA LA PREVENCIÓN DE SINTOMATOLOGÍA DEPRESIVA EN PERSONAS CON BAJO AUTOCONCEPTO

[ES] Este trabajo incluye el diseño de un programa de intervención basado en mindfulness enfocado en la prevención de sintomatología depresiva en personas con bajo autoconcepto con la finalidad de mejorar su bienestar psicológico y fomentar la aceptación positiva de sí mismos. El programa será aplicado en población ecuatoriana en hombres y mujeres en edades comprendidas entre los 18 a 35 años. En este estudio se incluirán 32 participantes, 16 en el grupo experimental y 16 en el grupo de control en lista de espera. Los instrumentos psicológicos que se aplicaran son: AF5 para medir la variable de autoconcepto; SDS, para evaluar sintomatología depresiva; FFMQ para avaluar el nivel de atención plena y la Escala de Ryff para medir el grado de satisfacción con la vida. El programa consta de evaluación pre-test en ambos grupos, 8 sesiones de aproximadamente 2 horas una vez por semana con el grupo experimental y, evaluación post-test y seguimiento en ambos grupos. Con la implantación de este programa de intervención se pretende aumentar el autoconcepto de los participantes, así como mejorar su bienestar subjetivo, dotándoles de técnicas y estrategias de atención plena para fomentar la práctica en su vida diaria que les ayude a generar un estado de consciencia libre de juicios y un afrontamiento positivo ante cualquier situación.
[EN] This research includes the design of an intervention program based on mindfulness focused on the prevention of depressive symptoms in people with low self-concept in order to improve their psychological wellbeing and promote positive acceptance of themselves. The program will be applied to the Ecuadorian population in men and women between the ages of 18 to 35. This study will include 32 participants, 16 in the experimental group and 16 in the control group on the waiting list. The psychological instruments that will be applied are; AF5 to measure the self-concept variable; SDS, to evaluate depressive symptoms; FFMQ, to evaluate the level of mindfulness and the Ryff Scale to measure the degree of satisfaction with life. The program consists of pre-test evaluation in both groups, 8 sessions of approximately 2 hours once a week with the experimental group, and post-test evaluation and follow-up in both groups. With the implementation of this intervention program, the aim is to increase the self-concept of the participants, as well as to improve their subjective wellbeing, equipping them with mindfulness techniques and strategies to promote the practice in their daily life that helps them to generate a state of free consciousness of judgment and a positive coping in any situation.
