La cultura en el aula de ELE: Propuesta didáctica sobre la celebración de la Navidad en España y Puerto Rico

Abstract

[ES] En los últimos años, se ha podido observar cómo el aprendizaje y la didáctica de una segunda lengua han sido impulsados por los enfoques comunicativos y la necesidad de incorporar el componente cultural a la enseñanza de lenguas. Por consiguiente, en este estudio, se analizará la importancia de la inclusión de la cultura en el aula, realizándose una reflexión sobre su evolución, características y el desarrollo de metodologías comunicativas que priorizan la educación multicultural. Además, se revisarán los conceptos de competencia sociocultural y sociolingüística y el tratamiento de los aspectos culturales en el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia y el Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes. También, se elaborará una propuesta didáctica para abordar el tema de la celebración de la Navidad en España y Puerto Rico, analizándose las tradiciones e influencias comunes y diferentes. Aquí, se utilizará el enfoque por tareas, pues permite establecer generalizaciones de las hipótesis realizadas por los estudiantes sobre las celebraciones y tradiciones, posibilitando la comprensión de la cultura en un contexto de aprendizaje globalizador.[EN] In recent years, the processes of learning and didactics of a second language have been driven by communicatice approaches and the need to incorporate the cultural component into language teaching. Considering these ideas, in the present study, we will analyze the importance of the inclusión of culture in the classroom, reflecting on its evolution, characteristics and the development of communicative methodologies that priorize multicultural education. In addition, we will review the concepts of sociocultural and sociolingistic competence and the treatment of cultural aspects included in the Common European Framwork of Reference and the Curriculum Plan of the Cervantes Institute. Also, a didactic proposal will be elaborated to address the theme of the celbration of Christmas in Spain and Puerto Rico, analyzing the common and different traditions and influences. To achieve that, we will use the task approach, since it allows to establish generalizations of hypotheses about the celebrations and traditions, making posible the comprehension of these cultural aspects in a globalizing context.
