This End of Degree Dissertation intends to analyse the famous popular tale “Little Red Riding Hood” written for the first time by Charles Perrault but better known by the hand of the Grimm Brothers. It begins by introducing us to five specially selected authors among many other writers who have written their versions of the story. These authors have been chosen for this study as they have made this story a sexist, feminist or a dark, bloody version. The main part of this work that deals with the analysis of eight significant elements in the story, to check how some authors delete or add them in their version to convey a different point of view. And finally, this End of Degree Dissertation concludes with the importance of these symbols because without them the tale would not be the same.
