Aproximación al estudio de la asistencia social durante el franquismo

Resumen
Con el fin de la Guerra Civil Española (1936-1939), la situación económica era precaria. En este trabajo nos aproximaremos a la cruenta realidad vivida por las familias españolas durante la Dictadura de Franco (1939-1975), concretamente, en el medio rural, haciendo especial hincapié en la asistencia social de la época. Ofreceremos una revisión bibliográfica de las instituciones que surgieron en siglo XX, debido a la grotesca realidad surgida ante la cual tuvieron que hacer frente los ciudadanos. Haremos especial referencia al Auxilio Social, considerada una de las instituciones más importantes del régimen franquista, cuya misión era la de cumplir, bajo el beneplácito del Estado, unas funciones benéficas y político-sociales concretas. Sin olvidar a los huérfanos o hijos de presos políticos que quedaron bajo la protección del Estado mediante la creación de instituciones y servicios públicos de tipo asistencial y educativos.
At the end of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) the economic situation was fragil. By done this work we will be taken closer the cruel reality experienced by the spanish families during the Franco dictatorship (1939-1975). More specifically on rural areas and with particular emphasis on the social work (social welfare) of the era. Also we will provide a bibliografic review of the institutions appeared along the twenthieth century, due to the emerging of the grotesque reality the people must confront. Attention will be given in particular to the Social Assistance, which is considered as one of the mist important institutions of the Francoist regime, which considering the welcome of the state, fulfilled their mission by performing specific benefit and sociopolitical functions. Without forgetting the orphans or children of the political prisioners who still remained in state care by creating public services and institutions of welfare (social assistance) or education type
