Resumen
El presente trabajo analiza la corriente psicoterapéutica de Arteterapia con el objetivo de realizar un proyecto de aplicación en un alumnado de educación infantil que incluya individuos con Síndrome de Down. A través de las terapias artísticas se consigue la expresión de ideas y emociones internas del individuo, facilitándose la comunicación y las relaciones interpersonales. En el ámbito educativo, se favorece la inclusión del alumnado con Síndrome de Down trabajando actitudes de respeto hacia el diferente, lo que mejora el clima de convivencia. La intervención propuesta consiste en un proyecto que pretende llevarse a cabo durante un curso académico y cuyo principal propósito es favorecer la inclusión y desarrollo emocional del alumnado con Síndrome de Down, sin perder de vista los beneficios que brinda hacia el alumnado en general, que van desde la mejora de la autoestima hasta la prevención de enfermedades mentales.
The present work analyzes the psychotherapeutic movement of Art Therapy with the objective of realizing a project of application in an infant school context that includes individuals with Down Syndrome. Through the artistic therapies the expression of ideas and internal emotions of the individual is achieved, facilitating communication and interpersonal relationships. In the educational field, it is favored the inclusion of students with Down Syndrome through working attitudes of respect towards the different, which improves the climate of coexistence. This intervention consists of a project to be carried out during an academic year and whose main purpose is to favor the inclusion and emotional development of students with Down Syndrome, without losing sight of the benefits it offers to the general students, who are going from improving self-esteem to preventing mental illness.
