ANTHROPOGENIC GLOBAL CHANGE, COOPERATIVE LEARNING, AND ATTENTION TO DIVERSITY: A DIDACTIC PROPOSAL FOR THE SUBJECT OF BIOLOGY AND GEOLOGY IN CSE

Abstract

(ES)La presente propuesta tiene como objetivo realizar un Trabajo de Fin de Máster basado en una propuesta didáctica para la asignatura de Biología y Geología (4o de ESO), abordando el tema del cambio global antropogénico y la educación ambiental, fomentando específicamente una transposición de algunas de las últimas conclusiones científicas del Panel Intergubernamental sobre Cambio Climático (IPCC) a una unidad didáctica AICLE basada en el aprendizaje cooperativo como herramienta de atención a la diversidad. La falta de materiales AICLE junto con la novedad de este tema, que está experimentando un desarrollo continuo y cuyos impactos son tan relevantes que urge incluirlos en el currículo, hacen de esta propuesta una contribución potencialmente importante en el campo AICLE y en el de la enseñanza de las ciencias. Además de esto, el aprendizaje cooperativo tiene el potencial de convertirse en un buen aliado para la atención a la diversidad. Algunas de las críticas más duras que se hacen a la metodología AICLE están relacionadas con un supuesto elitismo. Por ello, esta propuesta pretende darle la vuelta y convertir la metodología AICLE y el aprendizaje cooperativo en compañeros adecuados para la atención a la diversidad.

(EN)The present proposal aims to carry out a didactic MA dissertation for the subject of Biology and Geology (4th year of CSE), addressing the topic of anthropogenic global change and environmental education. The latest scientific conclusions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have been considered to create a CLIL didactic unit, by means of a didactic transposition, based on cooperative learning as a tool for attention to diversity. The lack of materials for CLIL lessons together with the novelty of this topic, which is experiencing ongoing development and has such a relevant impact nowadays, justifies the need to include them in the syllabus, making this proposal a potentially important contribution to the field of CLIL science teaching. In addition, cooperative learning has the potential to cater successfully to diversity. Some of the harshest criticism of CLIL is related to its association with elitism. For this reason, this proposal aims to flip the coin and convert CLIL and cooperative learning into the lynchpin for attention to diversity.
