Resumen
[ES]El presente trabajo se va a centrar en el estudio iconográfico e iconológico de obras artísticas en las que aparezca representado el héroe clásico Hércules dentro del territorio andaluz, destacando de forma especial las realizaciones renacentistas. Para tal fin se examinarán hitos literarios en los que se narren la vida y hazañas del semidiós en conexión con las tradiciones exegéticas. Posteriormente, realizaremos un análisis exhaustivo de las obras encontradas en Andalucía para poder establecer un estudio iconográfico sobre la evolución de su imagen y un estudio iconológico sobre su significado en cada contexto artístico.
[EN]The present work is going to centre on the iconographic and iconological study of artistic works in which the classic hero Hercules appears inside the Andalusian territory, distinguishing from special form the Renaissance accomplishments. To this end we will analyze literary milestones in which the life and exploits of this hero are related in connection with exegetical traditions. Later we will realize an exhaustive analysis of pieces found in Andalusia to be able to establish an iconographic study on the evolution of his image and an iconological study about his meaning in every artistic context.
