This bachelor's thesis conducts a technical-economic analysis of photovoltaic systems in buildings for self-consumption. It begins with an introduction and background information, followed by an exploration of the regulatory framework related to self-consumption markets. The work defines electricity costs for access tariffs and hourly rates. It then creates a representative consumption profile for the mentioned dwelling, supported by tables and figures for analysis. Estimating energy production relies on data from the PVGIS application, determining hourly and daily energy generation throughout the year. The study also addresses energy surplus for grid injection and occasional grid energy intake due to varying production. A final economic and financial analysis assesses the viability of photovoltaic systems for self-consumption in the studied dwellings. The analysis covers criteria such as net present value, internal rate of return, cash flow, and the cost of electricity generation. Conclusions and future research directions are presented. This analysis was conducted using a tool developed in Google Colab with Python.
