Revisión bibliográfica sistemática sobre las conexiones aferentes de la corteza insular anterior y posterior.

Resumen
El paradigma del aprendizaje gustativo, en su modalidad apetitiva y aversiva, resulta de suma utilizad en cuanto al estudio del aprendizaje y la memoria. En este sentido, una de las estructuras cerebrales principalmente implicadas en la memoria gustativa, tanto para la traza de memoria de asociaciones apetitivas como aversivas, es la corteza insular, la cual puede subdividirse en una región anterior y posterior. Se ha comprobado que estas regiones poseen una representación de los campos corticales dulce y amargo, respectivamente, demostrándose que la activación del campo dulce resulta placentera, y la del amargo desagradable. Este hecho ha dado lugar a una hipótesis que plantea que la ínsula anterior conecta en el sistema cerebral de recompensa, mientras que la ínsula posterior lo hace con el sistema de aversión. A partir de estos planteamientos, se ha llevado a cabo una búsqueda bibliográfica sistemática sobre las conexiones aferentes de la región anterior y posterior de la ínsula con el objetivo de corroborar dicha hipótesis.
The paradigm of gustatory learning, in its appetitive and aversive modality, is extremely useful in the study of learning and memory. In this sense, one of the brain structures mainly involved in gustatory memory, both for the memory trace of appetitive and aversive associations, is the insular cortex, which can be subdivided into an anterior and posterior region. It has been proven that these regions have a representation of the sweet and bitter cortical fields, respectively, demonstrating that the activation of the sweet field is pleasant, and that of the unpleasant bitter. This fact has given rise to a hypothesis that states that the anterior insula connects in the cerebral reward system, while the posterior insula does so with the aversion system. Based on these approaches, a systematic bibliographic search has been carried out on the afferent connections of the anterior and posterior region of the island in order to corroborate this hypothesis.
