Resumen
La Escuela de Padres es una herramienta de intervención familiar que puede llegar a ser clave. Existen
situaciones donde el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje encuentra diversas barreras en el marco familiar y
gracias a la Escuela de Padres el centro puede trabajar en la mejora de la relaciones centro-familia y como
consecuencia en la del proceso educativo del alumnado. Los cambios en los modos de vida y los nuevos tipos de
familia, en las que todos los miembros adultos acceden al mercado laboral, generan en ocasiones que las
relaciones y la conciliación familiar no sea la adecuada y afecte negativamente al rendimiento escolar por falta
de apoyo o ayuda. El objetivo del trabajo es realizar una propuesta de intervención accesible y realista, para los
miembros de estas unidades familiares, guiando a los participantes a hacer una mejor gestión del tiempo libre y
favorecer la conciliación familiar.
Parenting school is a tool for family intervention that can be essential. There are situations where the teaching-learning process faces several barriers in the family context. Thanks to the Parenting School, the school can work on improving the school-family relation and consequently on the educational process of the students. Changes in lifestyles and the new types of family, in which all adult members get into the working market, cause relationship and family conciliation not to be ideal and this negatively affects to school performance due to lack of help or support in daily work. The objective of the work is making an accessible and realistic intervention proposal for the member of the families that have been explained before. It is also intended to guide participants to better manage their free time and promote their family conciliation.
