(ES) La música ha estado siempre muy presente en la sociedad, en especial en la época romana.
Gran parte de los instrumentos musicales, así como su ejecución y composiciones, son claramente
herencia de la cultura griega. Por lo que la arqueología musical en esencia, conjuntamente con
otras disciplinas, buscan recuperar los sonidos de la Antigüedad y ver las diferencias y evolución
con el paso del tiempo de la herencia griega y el desarrollo romano de dichos instrumentos.
En la actualidad, estos instrumentos se utilizan en numerosas festividades de recreación histórica
que buscan divulgar ese pasado romano de las localidades donde estuvo asentada esta civilización
y dejó muy marcada su cultura.
(EN) Music has always been very present in society, especially in Roman times. Much of the musical instruments, as well as their execution and compositions, are clearly a heritage of Greek culture. Therefore, musical archaeology, in essence, together with other disciplines, seek to recover the sounds of Antiquity and see the differences and evolution over time of the Greek heritage and the Roman development of these instruments. Currently, these instruments are used in numerous historical recreation festivities that seek to divulge the Roman past of the towns where this civilization was based and left its culture very marked
