SONIDO Y PODER MONÁRQUICO: LA MÚSICA EN LAS FIESTAS DE PROCLAMACIÓN DEL JAÉN BORBÓNICO (ss. XVIII-­‐XIX)

Abstract

Con el presente trabajo, de tipo documental, se pretende investigar cómo se llevaban a cabo y se festejaban las fiestas de proclamación de diversos monarcas españoles en la provincia de Jaén durante los siglos XVIII y XIX. Primeramente, se estudian las características generales de fiestas para, posteriormente, analizar su desarrollo particular en el Jaén borbónico. Con este trabajo se pretende aplicar al caso de Jaén unas líneas de trabajo y metodologías de investigación muy interesantes como las de la musicología urbana, que ya han sido desarrolladas en otras provincias españolas y que permiten conocer sucesos y sus correspondientes consecuencias artísticas y musicales, imprescindibles para conocer el pasado de nuestra provincia.

With this documentary-type work, I try to investigate how the celebrations of proclamation of diverse Spanish monarchs were realized and celebrated during the 18th and 19th centuries. Firstly, I study the general characteristics of feasts and later on I analyse its particular development in the Borbonic Jaén. This work intends to apply to the case of Jaén some lines of work and interesting research methodologies, such as the urban musicology, that have already been developed in other Spanish provinces and that allow to know events and their corresponding artistic and musical consequences, very important to know the past of our province.
