The Use of ICT in the EFL Classroom. A Lesson Plan for 1 st ESO Students

Abstract

[ES] Las nuevas tecnologías han llegado para quedarse en nuestras vidas; y la educación es solo otro de los ámbitos donde poco a poco han ido adquiriendo un papel importante y fundamental. Por ese motivo y con el fin de proporcionar material útil y actualizado, el objetivo de esta tesis es presentar una posible unidad didáctica factible de llevar a cabo donde las herramientas tecnológicas y el internet tendrán un papel muy importante. Además, la motivación, el ánimo y el compromiso serán aspectos claves a ser estimulados a lo largo de las diferentes actividades propuestas en las que el aprendiz adoptará un papel activo.

[EN] New technologies have come to stay in our lives and Education is only another field where little by little they have acquired an important and essential role. For that reason, in order to provide updated and useful material, the aim of this Dissertation is to present a possible and feasible Didactic Unit in which technological tools and the Internet will have a significant role. Besides, motivation, encouragement and engagement will be key aspects to be boosted throughout the different activities proposed in which the learner will adopt an active role.
